Karim Vionnet learned winemaking under the tutelage of Guy Breton and it shows in his very pure and focused wines. He makes Beaujolais in a more serious manner and it is evident in his Chenas. With hints of jasmine on the nose and a seductive silky mouth feel with some structure and a tiny bit of grip this is all wine.
