This is a sweet and luxurious fortified dessert wine made with a process completely unique to the Jura region. Sweet grape juice (in this case Chardonnay) is fortified with brandy and then aged in oak for a full six years, lending spicy oxidized tones to the wine which is a rich, amber color and overflows with notes of dried fruit, baking spice, and savory herbs. An absolute treat alongside a cheese plate or creme brulee, this is our go-to when we are looking for a dessert wine that's interesting yet approachable.
