Pierre Paillard makes wine with a certain je nais se quois, if you don't believe me try them for yourself. Bright and taught wines with just the right amount of Chardonnay to keep it lifted and bright, with a base of Pinot Noir that gives it round and firm red fruit. All followed up by a sort of earthy and delightful finish.
