This wine is the flagship wine from Ojai Vineyards, a blend of seven different vineyards it is a clear example of the cool growing climate in Santa Barbara and how Syrah can be treated amazingly in this area. A spicy and rich, very textured dark red fruit, a little cocoa and some leather with a long and very persistent finish. Finished in French oak for ten months gives it a little vanilla and the splash of Grenache keeps it light and lifted.
