There is nobody else in the world working with the Fer Servadou grape with such grace and finesse as Nicolas Carmarans. Fer de Sang is made from vines that are 70+ years old, it begins carbonic maceration and then finished in barrique. Same almost ethereal lightness but with a focus and a nerviness that belies it's youth.
