Domaine Montbourgeau may have been my first real experience with Jura white. A perfect blend of Chardonnay with a splash of Savignin made, as it always has been, by hand in old Foudre, where it ages for 24-48 months never topped up. Resulting in a very nervy bright acid laden, rich white with almond skins and soft pears and a finish that lasts for days and days.
