This is seriously the best version of this Nama sake I have yet to taste from Masumi distillery. Released in the spring it is the first indicator of what the sake will be like, reflecting what the water and rice are like this year. Unpastuerized it is bursting with freshness, great texture and acidity with a bright softness. Always best drunk fresh, and it has just arrived, so grab a bottle and bbq up something with some spice and smoke!
