Gina Giugni is first a farmer, and lucky for us, now a winemaker. She started making wine from her Biodynamic and regenerative farm in 2017 and this rose has always been a true joy - when we get a tiny bit of it. From mostly Pinot Noir, that spends just 24 hours on the skins keeping it light and bright in color and feel - and 20% Sauvignon Blanc which are both vinified separately in used oak barrels. Resulting in a tart - think pink lemonade on a hot day - very mineral driven and thirst quenching rose.
