I heard this referred to as Grandpa wine, which makes sense if your Grandpa happens to be a super cool natural wine maker who makes ethereal and soul satisfying Pinot Noir, full of bright berries and tension and balance. I hope that wine drinkers will finally embrace Spatburgunder as a serious contender in the Pinot conversation.
