Prodigious vintner Alessandra Divella farms two hectares in Franciacorta from which she produces incredible sparkling wines. There is a certain hope and joy in all of her cuvées, which tend to see glorious extended aging regimes before release - giving them uncommon depth and nuance in the glass. She named this beautiful, saline-inflected cuvée for her father, and it drinks like the very special wine that it is: The 50/50 Chardonnay-Pinot Noir blend is nutty, toasty, yeasty, and citrusy at once with notes of green pear, fresh apple, and some peach that all come together supported by bracing acidity. The long finish totally seals the deal.
