DASHE CELLARS 2017 'DRY CREEK RESERVE' ZINFANDEL

Picked just before the wildfires set in, and after a heat snap that perfectly ripened the grapes and allowed them to be picked before the chance that any smoke taint could happen. Then the wine was aged for 14 months, 20% in new French Oak and the rest in used barrels. A lush and dark fruit-laden red wine with tons of strawberry jam and perfect amounts of white and black pepper.
