CHRISTIAN TSCHIDA 2021 'HIMMEL AUF ERDEN' MAISCHEVERGOREN

Maischevergoren translates to "skin contact" and this is one of Christian Tschida's only orange wines. Scheurebe and various Muscat clones are left between 2-4 weeks on the skins giving the wine a bit more structure and gravitas than the normal ethereal whites of Tschida. Still representing more as a white wine than "orange" it is aromatic and mineral driven with tons of orchard fruit.
