This is gorgeous, natural Gamay from a husband-and-wife team that is not only committed to their family vineyards, but is striving to reclaim biodiversity in their home appellation of Brouilly. By planting trees, embracing organics, and eschewing the use of sulfur in their wines, the Bonnet-Cotton team is making a huge difference in the region... and, of course, their wines are delicious, pure iterations of Gamay that combine wild berry notes with violets, sage, and spice. Vinified in old oak with native yeasts, this bottling is vibrant, delicious, and really a wine worth cherishing.
