Trousseau from three different vineyard sites which have volcanic cobble and ancient river stones. Whole cluster grapes are fermented with native yeast and aged for 11 months in neutral French oak. This simple, direct, incredibly honest Trousseau is one of the best vintages we have tasted from Arnot-Roberts. Light and ethereal fruit is tinged with texture and built around a good backbone, with a persistent finish and length. So well balanced, and purely expressing this uncommon grape variety.
