The only pure Pinot Meunier wine that Laval makes, coming from vines planted in the 1930's and 1970's. The wine is intense with tart underripe strawberry and that tiny bit of earth that is so characteristic of Pinot Meunier. This is a bottle that should be decanted, or better yet held in your cellar for five years.
