Vinho Verde is both a place and a wine, how can Portugal make it more confusing? But don't be confused this is - local variety - Avesso grown in the granite soils of Vinho Verde. After two weeks macerating on the skins the grapes are transferred and allowed to settle for another two week before pressing. Resulting in golden hued wine with hints of dried apricots with a touch of salinity.
