GERARD BOULAY 2016 'CLOS DE BEAUJEU' SANCERRE BLANC (MAGNUM)
$111.95
Clos de Beaujeu is one of Sancerre's most famous vineyards, making wine since the 14th century, today Boulay makes this cuvée from his .75 hectare plot where he farms organically. The grapes are hand-harvested, natural yeast, aged on the lees in both barrel and tank, resulting in a focused, linear white with zesty grapefruit and balanced minerality but a texture from the lees aging that makes this a more serious and age-worthy Sancerre.
