Vigneron Eric Weber (he prefers the title "Winzer," emphasizing the role in the vineyard) makes minerally, lean-textured and racy wines with snappy acidity. This 100% Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder) is no exception. Pear, lemon peel and crushed gravel flavors with a spritzy sort of sparkle to it. Low intervention, austere winemaking, but absolutely delightful!
