This is a deep and concentrated dessert wine made primarily from Chardonnay. In the glass, it is golden in color and rich with notes of toasted nuts, honey, golden raisins and dried apricots. The mastermind behind this wine uses only natural processes, avoiding sulfur and commercial yeasts in the vineyard to showcase the nuances of the Jura's rugged, mountainous terroir. This traditional dessert wine is made in the style of "Macvin du Jura," a local style of dessert wine made by adding neutral grape spirit to fermenting wines in order to preserve their sweet complexity.  The result in a crazy-complex, off-dry wine that is ideal with a cheese plate or fruity dessert, and will seriously up your dinner party game.
