The dominant flavors of peppermint, fennel, lemon peel, and gentian are perfectly balanced against the underlying sweetness of this Amaro. Great as a digestif or as an aperitif with a splash of soda. Originally made by an herbalist, back when all Amari were made for medicinal purposes, and later made in limited batches for a restaurant in Cuneo, the process behind this bottle has not changed in the 100+ years since it was introduced.
