November 10: Super Glou Wines

Join us this Wednesday, November 10 from 6-8pm to taste three fantastic wines with the INCREDIBLE Jennifer Green of Super Glou.

LELARGE-PUGEOT NV 'TRADITION': There are so many reasons to love this wine: Because it is Franciacorta that drinks like Champagne. Because it is made by a badass young woman who is trying to move the needle on farming and winemaking back to its roots and away from chemicals and BS. Because when we drink it, we feel refreshed and renewed, and able to enjoy simple pleasures for a minute.

HOLGER KOCH 2019 CHARDONNAY HERRENSTUCK: This German Chardonnay grown near the French border reminds us of Old-School Burgundy in the best way. Farmed organically, it is bursting with fresh citrus and has just enough weight on the palate. To put it simply, this is our sweater-weather white wine of choice right now.

WEINGUT IDLER 2020 'GUTSWEIN' TROLLINGER: Glou-Glou at its finest. This light red from one of Germany's next-gen stars is a powerfully fresh, any-time wine made from the Trollinger variety fermented naturally with wild yeasts. Vivacious and full of flavor yet precise, we love it chilled with charcuterie, roasted vegetables, and/or good conversation.
